The 12^th China-ROK Elite Forum, co-sponsored by the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs(CPIFA) and the 21C Korea-China Leaders Society (21C KCLS），was held in Seoul on June 5, 2012. Mr. Xu Jialu, Former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of National People's Congress (NPC),Amb. Lu Shumin, Secretary of the Party Leading Group and Vice President of CPIFA, Mr. Huang Xingyuan,Vice President of CPIFA,Mr. Han Fangming, Deputy Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of Chineses People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Ms. Xu Jinrong, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province and former Ambassadors and scholars from the Chinese side attended the forum. Mr. Lee Soo Sung,former Prime Minister of ROK,Mr. Kim Han Kyu,President of 21C KCLS and Ms. Lee Bae-yong,Chairperson of Presidential Council on Nation Branding from the ROK side participated. The two sides spoke highly on the fruitful results achieved in bilateral relations over the past 20 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and ROK, and exchanged views and reached extensive consensus on future Sino-ROK relationship, Korean Peninsula situation, FTA between China and ROK and issues of mutual concern.

       During the visit, Mr. Kim Hwang Sik, Prime Minister of ROK, Mr. Ko Heung Kil,Minister for Special Affairs,and Mr. Kim Doo Gwan,Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do Province met with and hosted banquets in honor of the delegation respectively. The two sides exchanged views on further cementing strategic partnership of cooperation between China and ROK and mutual exchanges.
