At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), a 12-member delegation led by Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Speaker of Sindh Provincial Assembly of Pakistan, visited Beijing and Wuhan from Nov.15 to 19, 2011.  

       During their stay in Beijing, H.E. Amb. Cai Jinbiao, Vice President of CPIFA hosted a welcome dinner in honor of the delegation. The Three Gorges Corporation and the United Energy Corporation respectively signed Memorandums of Understanding(MOU) on cooperation with the visiting delegation. In addition, the delegation held a business road show in the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing. During the visit to Wuhan, Vice-Chairman of Hubei Provincial People's Congress, Mr. Liu Youfan hosted a dinner in the delegation's honor. The delegation also had an in-depth discussion with China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co. Ltd and briefed the latter the business opportunities in Sindh Province.  

       Mr. Khuhro highly spoke of the bilateral relations between China and Pakistan, and expressed heart-felt thanks to China's selfless assistance to Pakistan. The delegation also presented some good suggestions for enhancing bilateral business exchanges.
