At the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), H. E. General Surayud Chulanont, Minister of the Privy Council and Former Prime Minister of Thailand and his five-member party visited Sichuan, Guizhou, Zhejiang and Beijing respectively from October 21 to 28. H.E.Tang Jiaxuan, Former State Councilor and H.E. Ambassador Cai Jinbiao, Vice President of CPIFA, met with and hosted dinners in honor of the visiting delegation in Beijing respectively. Mr. Mao Zhixiong, Assistant Mayor and Secretary General of Chengdu, Mr. Zhao Kezhi, Governor of Guizhou Province and Mme. Qiao Chuanxiu, Chairwoman of Zhejiang CPPCC met with and hosted dinner in the delegation's honor successively. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, China-ASEAN relations and cooperation between the two countries as well as issues of mutual interest.
