At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. Gordon Brown, former Prime Minister of UK, visited China from 15 to 19 Sepember 2011. Vice Premier Li Keqiang, Mr. Chen Zhu, Minister of Health, and Mr. Zheng Bijian, President of the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy, met with Mr. Brown. The two sides exchanged views on China-UK relations, world economic situation, G20 and European sovereign debt crisis. Mr. Brown also attended the World Economic Forum in Dalian .
