In Beijing, Mr. Cui Tiankai, Vice Foreign Minister, Gen. Guan Youfei, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Ministry of National Defense, Mr. Fang Shangpu, Deputy Administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Mr. He Ning, Director-General of the Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Cui Liru, President of the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Mr. Zhang Yuyan, Director of the Institute of World Economics and Politics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences met with the delegation respectively. Amb. Chen Yonglong, Vice President of the CPIFA hosted a dinner in honor of the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on Sino-U.S. relations, major problems facing China’s Economic Development, domestic situation in the U.S. and the 2012 U.S. Presidential Election, etc. In Chongqing, Mr. Bo Xilai, Party Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, Mr. Yang Qingyu, Chairman of the Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission met with the delegation respectively. The delegation also visited Minxinjiayuan Public Rental Housing Project and Chongqing Jinshan Technology Co. Ltd.
