Tony Blair Visits China

       At the invitation of CPIFA, Mr. Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of UK, visited Beijing and Shanghai from 25 to 28 March 2011. In Beijing, Mr. Wang Qishan, Vice Premier of the State Council, and Mr. Yang Wenchang, President of CPIFA, met with Mr. Blair and exchanged views with him on the current situation of West Asia and North Africa, the world economy, energy and environmental protection. Mr. Blair also interacted with senior diplomat candidates on “how to enhance relations between China and the West and to improve mutual understanding and communications with the public and the media”. In Shanghai, Mr. Blair attended events sponsored by Khosla, a U.S. venture company.
