At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), the National Urban League delegation visited Beijing and Shanghai from January 23 to March 1. In Beijing, Mr. Zhang Ping, Vice President of CPIFA, and the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the Central Compilation &Translation Bureau and China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises met with the delegation respectively. The main purpose of the delegation was to gain the first-hand knowledge about China’s economic and social situation. The discussion also covered the medium and small business development in both countries.
