Vice President Lu Shumin Meets with Former U.S. Senators

On January 26, Amb. Lu Shumin, Vice President of CPIFA, met with and hosted a lunch in honor of Former U.S. Senators, including Mr. Dennis Deconcini, former chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate, and Mr. George Allen, George Voinovich and Steve Symms.
The two sides exchanged views on Sino-U.S. relations, China’s foreign policy, clean energy and issues of mutual concern. Amb. Lu introduced China’s social and economic situation, development blueprint and also briefed on the 18th CPC National Congress at the request of the guests.
