On October 25, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the US-Asia Institute co-hosted a virtual visit of US Congressional Staff Delegation by organizing a video discussion between officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China (MARA) and 12 US Congressional Staffers. Ambassador Zhao Weiping, Vice President of the CPIFA, chaired the meeting. Mr. Wei Zhenglin, Deputy Director-General of the MARA Department of International Cooperation gave the US delegation a briefing on issues concerning China-US agricultural cooperation and answered their questions.
