The 2022 Seminar on China-Pakistan Relations Successfully Held

On May 26, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the Islamabad Council of World Affairs, Pakistan (ICWA) jointly organized the 2022 Seminar on China-Pakistan Relations online. A total of around 20 delegates from the two sides attended the Seminar. Mr. Wang Chao, President of CPIFA and Amb. Khalid Mahmood, President of ICWA addressed the opening ceremony. 
The representatives of the two sides conducted in-depth and friendly exchanges on “Enduring China-Pakistan Friendship in the Evolving World Order”, “The Prospects and Risks of CPEC “and US ‘Indo-Pacific Strategy’ and the Current Regional Situation". 
Chinese representatives include Amb. Li Jie, Vice President of CPIFA, Amb. Yue Xiaoyong, Special Envoy for Afghan Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Rong Ying, Vice President and Senior Research Fellow of the China Institute of International Studies and scholars from Tsinghua University, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Zhejiang International Studies University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Institute of International Studies. 
Pakistan’s representatives include Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, former Foreign Secretary, Dr. Ishrat Hussain, former governor of the Pakistan Central Bank, and several former Ambassadors to China and the other countries.
